The Market Place
A colorful central feature of the town, full of different fruits, vegetables, and fish. The locals come from far and wide, particularly on a Saturday morning, to trade fish, root crops, fruit, handicrafts and other goods.

A Time To Exchange
A bustle of activity as stories of the previous week are exchanged with cries of laughter as the
sales go on.

A Time For No Change
In quieter corners the traditional drink 'Yaqona' or 'Kava' is enjoyed by men telling tales of days gone by. Young and old enjoy the morning before it is all packed up and people go back to the coastal villages on the last buses of the day.
